Provides moisture-free air for cabin/compartments. Normally consists of a cylindrical or oval-shaped shell with an inlet/outlet port, a drain port, a cylindrical, rectangular, or conical condenser, and a device to collect the moisture after it leaves the condenser. May include an internal bypass valve. Generally consists of two types: (1) the condenser-eliminator type, which collects the moisture on a tubular type core after it leaves the condenser, runs to the bottom, and drains out; (2) the swirl type, which causes the moist air to swirl rapidly as it leaves the condenser, throwing the moisture against the shell, where it collects and runs down to drain.
